Katon no Zyutu! Zyuuton no Zyutu! Ninja’s escape techniques!

This is the second part of ninjutsu.

We will introduce the techniques for “escaping” that we could not introduce last time.

There are many techniques in ninjutsu to escape from the enemy.

This is called “escape technique”.

Katon no Zyutu

Katon no Zyutu is a ninjutsu that deals with fire.
You might think that Katon no Zyutu is an offensive technique when you hear it, but in fact it was a kind of escape technique.

The reality was that they set fire to the house or the vegetation along the escape route to stop the enemy with flames and escape while they were distracted.

Suiton no Zyutu

Suiton no Zyutu is hiding in water, such as rivers, moats, or ponds.

In entertainment, there are often scenes of diving into water using bamboo tubes, but in reality, it was difficult to breathe and easy to be spotted by the enemy, so they did not use bamboo tubes and hid by holding their breath.

In the world record of diving, some people can swim 200m with one breath or hold their breath for more than 27 minutes, so ninjas must have acquired the ability to dive for a long time by training like them.

Enton no Zyutu

Enton no Zyutu is an escape technique that uses smoke.
They seem to have used something like smoke bombs.

Kinton no Zyutu

People are always blinded by money in any era.
Ninjas took advantage of this human nature.
They scattered money when they escaped, and ran away while the pursuers were picking it up.

Zyuuton no Zyutu

Zyuuton no Zyutu is using animals to cause a commotion and escape.
There were horses in the samurai’s residence, so they released the horses and escaped while the enemy was panicked.

Nitton no Zyutu

Nitton no Zyutu is escaping in the direction of the sun, and running away while the enemy is dazzled and blinded by the sun.

Getton no Zyutu

Geton no jutsu is to escape when the moon is hidden by clouds and it is pitch black.

Ninjutsu that are different from the image

When you hear ninjutsu, you tend to imagine offensive techniques, but when they were on missions to collect information or sabotage, their first priority was to complete the mission without being noticed by the enemy and return safely.

And when they actually fought in wars or attacked the rear or supply lines, they also acted in groups and fought with spears and bows like other soldiers.
